Street smart
Stop, look, listen, and cross holding a grown-up's hand.
Safe Kid teaches children aged 4 to 8 how to cross a road, who their trusted grown-ups are, what to do if they get separated, and a hundred everyday life skills — through stories and games that are never scary.
What children learn
Pip the mascot tells a short story, the child practises it in a game, and a sticker lands on their shelf. 227 topics, each small enough for one sitting.
Stop, look, listen, and cross holding a grown-up's hand.
Who to go to, and how to "check first" before going anywhere.
If you can't see your grown-up: stay where you are and find a helper.
Wash it, tell a grown-up, pop a plaster on. Small bumps, calmly.
Ask before you tap, and tell a grown-up when something feels odd.
Setting the table, bedtime, washing hands, weather, feelings, money and more.
How it feels
No danger scenes, no injuries, no alarms, no frightening words. Road scenes don't even show a car.
No timers and no lockouts. Every answer gets a warm reply, and the sticker is for finishing.
Every line can be spoken, so children who can't read yet can play on their own.
Tap, match, put in order, find it, steer Pip through a story, and act it out.
Achievement World
Every sticker is worth ten points. With a grown-up's say-so, children can see where they stand among Safe Kid explorers everywhere — and finishing every lesson earns a certificate with their name on it.
An example. The real rankings are only shown inside the app.
For grown-ups
Out of the box, Safe Kid sends nothing anywhere: lessons, progress and settings stay on the device. Achievement World is switched on only by a grown-up, from behind a parental gate.
The full details are in the privacy policy.
Safe Kid is on its way to Google Play. Until then, this page is where its certificates live.
